Trancoso/Bahia

Situated on the southern coast of the Brazilian state of Bahia, Trancoso is a village I have been photographing since 2005. A book is in progress. My parents settled there in the early 2000s after over thirty moves. These are a small selection from twenty five years of returning. The town, its people, its festivals. Trancoso is not where I'm from. It is where I always return to.
